The Endview Plantation  was built in 1769 by Captain Thomas Harwood and was renamed Endview in 1860. Named because visitors were greeted with the End View of the estate.

During the Civil War the Plantation served as a Confederate Hospital.

The Endview Plantation is located in Newport News, Va only about 7 Minutes from Williamsburg. The Plantation address is 362 Yorktown Road, Newport News.

The Plantation operates year round but is closed on on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from April - December and on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays from January - March.
It is also closed on the following Holidays:
New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.

The Endview Plantation also hosts several events throughout the year, has a kids camp and a Civil War Reenactment.
